SafeSignal Original delivers the same trusted audible alert pattern as SafeSignal Pro, built for direct wiring into your machine's ignition and shift systems. Designed for rugged industrial and mining applications, it provides reliable safety alerts without relying on CAN communication.
Key Features:
- Hardwired Inputs: Accepts 5V–24VDC power or ground signals from the key switch, shifter, or auxiliary controls
- Programmable Horn Patterns:
- 1 beep = start
- 2 beeps = forward
- 3 beeps = reverse
- 1 beep = start
- Start Delay Function (Optional):
Built-in delay prevents the machine from starting immediately. The operator must hold the key through the horn alert and a 5-second safety delay before the module activates the starter relay — enhancing situational awareness for those nearby.
- Delay Button for Loaders: Temporarily disables horn alerts during loading or staging operations to avoid confusing operators
- Dip Switch Adjustable Delay Timer: Adjust the length of time the delay button suppresses horn output (does not affect horn pattern or start delay)
- Durable & Secure: Enclosed in a 3x5 NEMA box with a square 12-pin Deutsch plug for rugged, weatherproof connectivity
- Voltage Compatible: Operates across 5V to 24VDC, making it suitable for a wide variety of equipment
